CubeCell Configurator

Lokks like your board does not respond in time. Have you selected the right com port?

I think so. When I choose “Connect” with the same Com7, it seems to read the configuration just fine.

new configurator 5.0 online.
all older versions will not flash anymore, due to a reorganization of the firmware files

Thank you for the great Tool, Björn (?)!

Can you give me a hint, how to wire a switch (e.g. reed contact) or a digital switch (e.g. PIR sensor) that wakes the cubecell board and sends a payload?

thank you, yes Björn is right.

there is an example for an interrupt wake, the PIN D4/GPI01 should be low and to activate the wakeup high.

have not tried it.

Thx, I will give it a try. So many things to discover with lora and cubecell

For my purpose, joining the multisensor and the interrupt sketch would be great. But no time (and probably brain) to learn C++ .

why are my last posts marked as SPAM?

i just wanted to let the users of the configurator know that they need to download the new version
because i had to change my github username.

I tried the sketch, but get an error while compiling:

@martin please try the CubeCell Board library installed from github.

this is how you can get it:

just uploaded the configurator v6.0 with integrated database.
there are lots more to come.

I’ve tried to reflash the capsule with Configurator versions 5 and 6 and still the result is:
08.02.20 23:26:46: Downloadind Firmware …
08.02.20 23:26:47: Downloading Firmware done
08.02.20 23:26:47: Flashing Firmware …
08.02.20 23:26:53: Initialising bootloader.
08.02.20 23:26:53: Unhandled error: Timed out waiting for Bootloader response.
08.02.20 23:26:53: Flashing failed !

The only thing I can think of that I might have done wrong is perhaps to have tried to reflash it on some previous occasion with the default “board” rather than “capsule” selected.

Any suggestions as to how the problem might be fixed would be gratefully received. I’m not very skilled in relevant respects.

Flashing with the wrong flastype is no problem an reversibel.
Have you tried another usb port and cable?
Can you please try to flash a sample with the arduino ide?

You can try this:

Hold the usr button while plugging in the usb cable. Now try to flash

Excellent.
Pressing in the little black button on the side where it says “USER” on the USB board while I plugged in the usb cable to power up the capsule, and continuing to hold the button in while I ran the flash procedure in the Configurator enabled it to flash successfully.
Thanks!

Great
That is the recovery flash way

Hello @wasn

am testing the vl53lix distance sensor with cubecell board.
The sketch is LoRaWan_MultiSensor which is located here https://github.com/HelTecAutomation/ASR650x-Arduino/tree/master/libraries/LoRa/examples/LoRaWAN/LoRaWAN_Sensors/LoRaWan_MultiSensor and using this decoder https://github.com/wasn-eu/CubeCell_Getting_Started/blob/master/TTN-Decoder/ttn-decode.js

My serial out is showing below message,
image While my chripstack network server is showing data as
VL53L1X_distance":4.75040179406113e-43," Seems like there is some issue in the decoder script or data encoding process inside the sketch.

Thanks for your support

Hello @BDM
can you please post a full payload.
i will have a look where the problem is.

Payload :

From the console:

Thank you

hi

the data field contains the encrypted payload.
i need the decrypted payload.

Below is the screen shot of decrypted data

Hi can you tell me what exactly that error means in the debug log i’m trying to connect different sensors always the same error
