Wireless Stick Lite V3 TX current is 200mA?!

Hi, per the datasheet, the Wireless Stick Lite V3 TX current is 200mA for 868MHz (Europe), on USB.

1. This seems VERY high! Is there a reason?

2. Can we bring it down?

3. Also, are there ratings for the US (915MHz)?

4. And on battery, not USB?
