WiFI LoRa ESP32 V2 - Huge LoRa packet loss

Hi there,

I just received two WiFi LoRa ESP 32 V2 Modules.
I already have the Cubecell HTCC AB02S with LoRa and so on, as Gateway I use a Raspberry Pi 4 with a LoRa hat from Dragino.

My existing Setup is that I use the CubeCell and send data to the Pi. And it works great.
I tried to add the two ESP to my setup but I suffer a huge Packet loss. All of the devices are within a meter on my desk.

The ESPs can talk to each other without a problem. But I can’t receive all Cubecell messages with the ESP (every 10th or so).
And I’m only receiving every 5th message of the ESP with the Pi.
They all use the same 868,1 MHz Chanel and have a SF of 7.

Is there anything I can change?
Thank you for your answers

hi,

please use this LORA pingpong code for your ESP32 device:

you can also refer this docs:

What SF level do you use? I found that with higher levels the problem gets worse.

Thank you very much, this Library was working perfect.
The library I used from the Heltec Getting Started Guide seems to not work properly then.
Can you maybe explain what the license in the pingpong.ino line 75 is for?

Anyway thank you very much!

Hi,
as I mentioned I used SF 7. It seems like the the code for the Pi provided by Dragino only works for SF 7 anyway.
