I’ve recieved two WiFi LoRa 32 Expansion Kits a couple of weeks ago. I like the mounting clip. I’m very impressed by the build quality at the front, the sides and top. But the backplate is disapointing at best.
I’ve seen Heltec respond to a video posted on Youtube by Valleytech Custom Solutions. Heltec statet that they’ve upgraded the backplate. A couple of questions:
Where can I get these upgraded backplates?
Are the upgraded backplates fully closed?
I can imagine heat might be an issue, but I like some protection to drops of rain for example. I’m not looking for IP67 protection, but less holes and/or a covered 28-pin connector at the back would be nice.
