Tried simple program in arduino with latest board defs.1.5 and still can’t connect to upload firmware on cubcell v2 and cubcell plus. I can see on serial port the copyright notice. Have also tried in Vstudio. Even done the user button thing. still no response. Tried different usb leads . Anyone else having this issue?
I have loads of these out in use. Really need a clue here. it’s costing me days of trial and error.
Unhandled error:Timed out Waiting for bootloader
I do still hit this problem occasionally, but I’ve never spent any time trying to work out what’s going on… Some part of 1. Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable; 2. The USER button sequence; and/or 3. Restarting the IDE, and sometimes one or more of those several times over so that I really have no idea what it is that’s actually doing the trick, has always resolved the issue, but it only occurs on one particular CubeCell v2.2 Dev-board that I have.
I know that’s probably not very helpful, but at least know that you’re not alone…
OK so today I held the User button while pressing and relesing the reset button. And noticed in the serial monitor Bootloader V1 pop up. So then unplugged the USB lead and put it back in again. I suspect this disconnects the serial port. Then I was able to upload the code. After needing to do this each time. Now it has started to upload the code without all those steps.
Oh and to add. There has to be a battery attached. Else when i pull out the USB to disconnect the monitor. Without a battery doing this will reset back to the run operation and not not the bootloader .
Yes, all pretty much what I observe with my recalcitrant CubeCell. But it can work just fine for months, loading code and running without a problem, then one day it will decide not to cooperate. Then, after the aforementioned shenanigans, all is well again for some indeterminate period…
I have one of those as well…
