We have had good experience powering Cube Cells (HTCC-AB01 V2) directly through the VS pin with 6-6.5 V (we use lead acid batteries due to some restrictions). We had nothing connected to the battery port on the board.
I now have two Cube Cells - probably from a different batch - where this approach doesn’t work. The board doesn’t seem to boot properly. All other power supply types - direct 3V3, 5V USB, 4.2 V on battery port - work as expected.
Did I run into a technical issue between two production batches? Could it be that there is a problem with charge regulation IC on the boards?
