SPIFFs Not supported

Is there a workaround for SPIFF not being supported in Arduino-IDE 2.0? It appears the new IDE cannot handle extensions.

I downgraded to IDE v1.8.x and now the SPIFF tools do not support ESP32-S3 (Wifi kit 32 v3). Are there workarounds?
