Solar power in Wireless Stick

Hello,

I have a Wireless Stick Lite module to which I have connected a lithium battery on the SH1.25-2. I wonder if I can connect a 6v solar panel across the 5V pin by adding only a diode

with a 5 to 6V solar panel with a diode (1N5817 - 1N5819) into the 5V pin of the board it would work to powering the board and also charge the battery?
