Problem with OLED for PlatformIO based project and CubeCell

I am a complete newbie to this and been trying out these examples:

Running CubeCell GPS HTCC-AB02S and everything seems to be working great, except for the OLED. For example, PingPong is running smooth according to the LED but the OLED is dark.

What am I missing here to get the OLED to work when I am building and uploading the code?
