The forum is currently not available over TLS (only http:// not https://). This results in new users being welcomed by a warning message from their browser telling them this site is insecure. Which is true: logging in to this site on public network is sending the credentials in clear text, rending said credential vulnerable to MITM attacks.
It would be better for your adoption to enable TLS. There are providers such as “Let’s Encrypt” that offer this service free of charge (funded by philantropy and volunteers)
