No power over via SH1.25-2 and battery

Hi,

I’m using a HTCC-AB01 (V2) with a sketch on it. If I power it via USB cable all is good. But if I remove the USB and try to use the SH1.25-2 battery interface, nothing happens. The board is not switched on.

I tried it with the very simple RGB example sketch but the board will not run with this battery interface. I’m using a 18650 3.7V 1200mAH battery and on a similar HTCC-AB01 (V2) it works fine.

Any idea how to check or what can I use instead? At the end I will utilize the integrated solar/battery function.

Is your 18650 a protected battery or unprotected battery?

I’m not sure and I don’t know how to check that. But as I wrote, with the same battery on another controller (same type) it’s working fine.

If I connect the battery with GND (Pin1) and VIN (PIN2) its working. Can I utilize this PINs and the solar-cell will charge the battery?
