I have a need where i want to connect some sensors to a CubeCell and ultimately get the information to a PLC. Over the last couple months i have been trying to understand what this will look like. I dont want the data to leave the building and go to the TTN. i want it to stay local so that i do not have to worry about network outages. My PLC can talk a couple different protocols. Is a gateway used to convert LORAWAN packets to other types like MQTT or MODBUS or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is possible, directly use the gateway with the local server, so that you can use MQTT for forwarding.
