Meshsolar unresponsive

I have a Meshsolar, and it was working for 4 months. Yesterday it stopped working and I cannot connect to it with usb or bluetooth, no matter what I do.

  1. The BMS is working, I did shutdown it and reenable it with 20V USB power adapter multiple times.
  2. I checked the BMS OUTPUT voltage, and it’s around 12,9 - 13 Volts, so all 4 batteries are connected correctly.
    4.I tried putting it in DFU mode by double pressing the RST button, but nothing happens when I do.
  3. Ι checked the battery switches, and they are ok.
  4. The device does not show up as a usb device or in chrome meshtastic web flasher/ client tool or the Meshsolar webserial tool (BMS).
  5. I tried 2 different known working usb cables (they work on my Heltec T114 just fine for data).

I don’t have a display so I can’t say if the node is on at all. In future iterations of the product, please include a display, I had such a hard time without one.

Is there any way I can factory reset it? What else would you suggest?

Having the same problem(
I can connect to the board using bluetooth but am unable to access it with meshtastic web flasher or mount it into an external drive configuration to flash new firmware.

Try this reset procedure:

  • disconnect the batteries
  • attach the USBC 20V
  • attach the batteries
  • The green batteries should turn on.

Try to disconnect the usbc and reconnect it and see if you see the serial port using a web flasher. I generally use web flasher from meshcore.
