Meshsolar BMS Web UI unavailable

Does anyone happen to have Heltec MeshSolar/MeshTower device and was able to flash MeshCore/Meshtastic in a way that allows configuration through the serial port for both BMS and MeshCore/Meshtastic? Currently, I can only flash the device with either the BMS firmware from Heltec’s website (in which case MeshCore doesn’t work), or the other way around. I’d like to be able to access and configure both via serial port web UI. I’m curious if anyone has managed to do this.

I’ve tried installing various firmware versions available on Heltec’s website for the MeshSolar device, and in no case was I able to get both configurators working at the same time. If I initially configure the BMS and then flash the device with MeshCore software, and BMS configuration via Web UI becomes unavailable, does the BMS software still work? Is the device still able to control the previously configured battery charging parameters if the BMS Web UI isn’t working? Or maybe someone has a working firmware available for testing?

I have this working in addition to

Override Console Serial Port ENABLE

If you have a serial port connected to the console, this will override it.

Thanks for that. I have to confess that I was reading these manuals, but since I’m much more interested in Mesh core instead meshtastic I haven’t found this.

Well, seems like if it’s possible in one system should be also possible in MeshCore I’ll dig into that, unless you are able to point me out to relevant source code :wink:
