HTTC-AB02S V1.1 GPS-Fix after 15 minutes; red LED flickers quickly

Hello,

i testet two new CubeCell GPS Boards V1.1!
I had some problems with one CubeCell GPS Board V1.1!

I programmed both boards with the example programm oledDisplayGPSInfo with modification in setup: Air530.setmode(MODE_GPS_GLONASS);

Arduino-IDE 1.13; CubeCell Framework 1.2

One modul had a GPS-Fix after ca. 5 minutes!

The other modul get a fix after ca. 15 minutes (same outdoor position) and, that is surprising, the red LED (serial connection?) flickers very quickly and can hardly be recognised at daylight.

The other module does not!

Both modules powerd by USB-Powerbank!

What is wrong with one module HTTC-AB02S?

I can’t detect any red LED in Schematic V1.1:

Hi, is it the same result after many tests? If you want a shorter GPS-Fix time, try using an active antenna.
Red LED is power and charge indicator light. If you want it not to flicker, you can try to remove the marked capacitor.

thank you for the quick reply!

I testet it some times! The result is the same, one Board had a gps-fix after 4-5 minutes, the other board after 15-20 minutes!

After gps-fix i do a reset on both boards, one had a new GPS-fix after a short time the other needs a lot of more time!

Is there a problem with the on board antenna?
