I bought two HTTC AB01 an used the first one in a battery powered project and it is working fine. But the second one drew 200 - 400mA from my power supply and started smelling bad. I did not reverse the battery polarity. I switched off my power supply and plugged it into usb and it worked fine. But it gets warm if i plug in a “Battery”. How can i fix this Problem? I think the hardware is defect because i tested the same “Battery” with my first Board and it works fine.

As for battery power supply, we have tested it before leaving the factory. We suspect that the problem is transportation.
