HTCC-AB02 Serial pins change to GPIO?

I want more GPIO pins.
HTCC-AB02 has two serial port but I’ll use one serial port.
So I want use GPIO from other serial port.

AB02S cannot use pin redefinition for hardware serial port.

Are you saying you can not put a GPIO (x16) pin expander
e.g ( PCF8575 Module Expansion IO port Expander board DC 2.5-5.5V I2C communication control 16 IO ports For Arduino as seen on aliexpress) On A HELTEC AB02 unit? IS anything like this possible? PLEASE explain, Many Thanks If you can

PCF8575 should be usable.
