Hi, I bought five pieces of AB01 boards for about 9-12 mounts ago and now I’m trying to program them using Arduino. When I connected them to a USB port on my computer there is no identification in the device management and its not recognized in the Arduino IDE.
This is the case for ALL five boards. I have tested on different computers and USB cables but it wont work. What to do?
Have you installed the serial port driver?
Make sure the cable you are using is not just a power only cable and contains the data connections. I have been caught with these. Look in Windows Device Manager and you should see a new Com Port listed when you plug in the Cubecell.
My third USB cable did work! Just bad luck that both USB cable 1 and 2 was shitty.
During the troubleshoot I did learn how to program the board via an FTDI board.
