I’m a developer from Japan currently building a long-range wildlife monitoring and trap notification system using Raspberry Pi, LoRa, and possibly Wi-Fi HaLow.
I recently found the HT-HR01 and HT-HC02 products and they look very promising for forest and rural networking projects.
Before purchasing them, I would like to ask:
- Do HT-HR01 / HT-HC02 support legal operation in Japan?
- Are there TELEC-certified versions available?
- Is JP920 / AS923 officially supported?
- Has anyone successfully used these devices in Japan?
I would also appreciate any information about:
- OpenWRT stability
- outdoor range in forests
- power consumption during long-term deployment
