Heltech Wireless Paper - Needed advice on battery

Hi All,

I wanted to know

  • “Heltech Wireless Paper” board capable of charge reachable battery? any recommendations on which battery to buy.
  • is there any problem if we connected battery and USB-C together

Any simple LiPo or other Lithium 3.7V battery will work. For instance the flat, rectangle ones in silvery wrapping. Or an 18650 shape.
When connecting both the battery and the USB, the battery will be charged. So connecting them at the same time is actually a good thing. Otherwise you’d have to remove the battery from the board and charge it elsewhere - not ideal!

Thanks for reply. I bought “803040 3.7V 1500mAh Lipo Battery”.

Is there any way, we can check battery charge level from code?
