V4 has worked fine but then it was switched off for 2 weeks when I was in a country where Meshtastic is not used.
When I tried to start it again, did not boot up. I assumed the battery was dead. When I started charging it, the red led came up and the device heated considerably over time, drawing first 1W and then 3W. After charging for hours, it still didn’t boot up. So I left is charging overnight and still nothing. I have tried the following :
Pressing PRG long time
Pressing Reset long time
Pressing PRG while plugging into USB and keep pressing few seconds
Pressing Reset while plugging into USB and keep pressing few seconds
Pressing PRG while plugging, into USB, keep pressing and then tapping RST before releasing PRG
Pressing RST while plugging into USB, keep pressing and then tapping PRG before releasing RST
The only response I got before the battery was full was that pressing button lowered the amount of charging power going in for the time I pressed the button.
What else could I try?
