When I plug into the solar connector I only get a flashing orange light. The board does not light up. It will work when connected to the usb power. Do I have a bad board? The batteries are fully charged.

try the LiPo connector
I use the equivalent to power my Heltec WiFi32 LoRa V4 board

Did you connect to solar or battery?
I connected mine to battery and it work.
We got it fixed. But have new problem. I connect to Bluetooth and it disconnects in less than 30 seconds. Thought I’d enjoy this mesh thing but it’s more of a nightmare.
