Heltec stick lite V3 looses memory

Hello,
my Heltec stick lite V3 will loose part of is memory when the battery dies when using meshtastic. After flashing the most recent firmware, I changed the user name, but after a battery drain, it lost the user name and went back to the default name. Has anyone found a solution to this problem besides not allowing the battery to die?

Observe when the battery dies does the BMS keep waking the unit back up if only briefly? I had a problem with a particular BMS and a lora v3 where it would corrupt the flash due to rapid powercycling by the BMS when the battery was “empty”. A better more reliable BMS was the solution in my case.
