Heltec HT-M2808 fan speed

Would it be possible in the next firmware version to run the fan at a speed adapted to the processor temperature?
at the moment it always starts at the highest speed, which is quite noisy.

I agree, for someone who is holding it indoors in house, it is very loud fan…

We have had a lot of feedback on this recently and are looking at a solution that still allows the cpu to operate in the higher temperature range :slight_smile:

any updates on this topic?

The noise level of this hotspot is very dissapointing. The fan mostly turns on several times an hour for only 5s on full power.

Can you please lower the fan speed and keep it running longer instead?
