HaLow not meshing- H7608-V2 with HD01-V2

I’m trying to mesh a H7608 gateway with a HD01 dongle just using the 802.11 wizards. It doesn’t work. The H760 is set as the Mesh Gate and the dongle set as the Mesh Point. I’ve done this 5 times now with no result.

H7608-V2 is running 2.8.5-20251023
HD01-V2 is running 2.8.5-20260420

Even though the firmware on both is 2.8.5 they have different dates and different options (“Easy Mesh” on the dongle). Why are there two different dates for the same firmware number!

At the moment, I’m assuming they are incompatible and I’m going to try setting another dongle as the mesh gate.

Fixed it by adding the antennas. I wrongly assumed that, since they were sitting next to each other, they wouldn’t need the antennas yet. Basically there’s zero signal without the antenna :-/
