Freezing weather operations

It is my understanding that LiPo batteries should not be charged in freezing weather. Looking at the block diagram of CubeCell Board, I do not see any temperature-dependent circuitry (e.g. a thermistor) that would prevent charging (e.g., from the solar panel) in below-freezing temperatures.

Should this be a concern and if so, how would I address? Thanks.

The Charging IC on CubeCell Board does not have its own NTC Thermistor Input (for Temperature Qualified Charging) or control pin for MCU to enable/disable.

You can buy a module that has Temperature monitoring with NTC

or
Build your own charging circuit using Charging IC with NTC input if temperature control is needed.
i.e.:
1)XC6808
With the completion of charging, when the NTC thermistor temperature is 0°C or higher and less than 45°C, and the BAT pin voltage (VBAT) falls to 3.9V or less and after 70ms elapses, charging resumes.

2)LTC4061
e 0.76 • VCC at cold,
charging is suspended, the internal timer is frozen and the
CHRG pin output will start to pulse at 1.5Hz.
