I know this is going to sound really dumb but with the devEUI and appEUI if your entire system is private do you have to still comply with the IEEE and Lora Alliance rules and register them?
Is there a recomended private address space that should be used in order to keep within the guidelines?
There is a bit which signifies the space is local (private) or global Here is a tool which can generate eui-64 or eui-48 in local space

The links to most of the reasonable explinations seemed to either be old or proken. I fintally found this that explains it a little better and is not as convoluted. And the ones I did find say set the first to 0 but others say that has now been depreciated.
