I found this information about the maximum ADC voltage in the documentation

Note
ADC input voltage can NOT higher than 2.4V.
What does this exactly mean, e.g. for a 3.3 V analog signal on this input pin? Will 3.3 V treated as 2.4 V and lead to the maximum analog read value what is the same as a 2.4 or 3.0 V signal produces?
Or is it “dangerous” to put a higher signal than 2.4 V on this pin and 3.3 V will kill the pin?
