Cubecell Dev-6502 battery discharge management

Hi

Can you please tell me how the battery discharge management feature works ? Does the LiPo battery get disconnected if its voltage drops below a threshold limit ? Can you explain on the schematic where and how this is done ? What is the battery discharge limit ?

Cubecell Dev-6502 only has a charge management system, not a discharge management system.

Hi

Thanks you for your rapid response.

My programme will periodically read the battery voltage and alert me if if falls below a (say) 3v threshold. Is there any way to programmatically switch off the Cubecell (I’m thinking that as well as alerting me it could turn itself off to avoid over-discharging the battery. Or is my only real option to put a Batt Protection circuit in between the battery and Cubecell ?
