Thank you Jason. I saw the announcement and hoped to get more detailed information regarding the capability of the Air530Z and how to program it. Is there a link with a technical description of the Air530Z available? Could not Google one…

As there are some differences between Air530 and Air520Z pin layout/functions it would be good to know the following:

  1. Pin 1 & 2 - active antenna supported now?
  2. Pin 3 ON_OFF - connected to an IO pin or still shutdown via VECT needed?
  3. Pin 11 BDS_GLONASS - unconnected?

1.Pin 1–Support active antenna;
2.Pin 3 NOT connected to IO, shutdown still needs to control Vext;
3Pin 11–NOT connected.

Hi,
I’ve got this board with the Air530Z GPS. As i’m situated in europe, i wanted to activate the use of the european GPS system
Galileo.

In other forum posts i see that the Air530 supported this GPS system. Is this also a difference between Air530 and the Air530Z module?
Although in the datasheet there is a mention of “Galileo”…
