Use of CH340 in HTCC-AM02 designs

Hi,

Is there a particular reason to use CP210X chip ? I would prefer to use a non mounted FTDI/CH340 chip to interface the USB on a HTCC-AM02 on a design.

For no particular reason, it has been tested that using ch340 is feasible.

I’m using external USB CP2102 USB/TTL with HTCC-AM02, @arit proposed a solution with minimal component configuration. I’m using it in my PCB and work well for flashing.

Alright thank you for the link :wink: I made a research with FTDI and CH340 so I didn’t find it.
